Cancer during pregnancy is a rare occurrence & one that isn’t often understood or spoken about. However it happened to me, aged 33 I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January this year when 16 weeks pregnant. It’s been an immense challenge dealing with the mixed emotions but thanks to the safe arrival of our daughter, support from the few family members and friends we did tell, I’m stronger and ready to share my story to raise awareness.

Over the coming months, I’ll continue to document the treatment journey. If it raises awareness, helps encourage other women to get checked out or help others understand how to support someone going through any illness, then it’s worthwhile x
